This “group consciousness” means we move as one to defend the few. Brimming from hundreds of years of unity against colonialism, and thousands of years as a philosophy of brotherhood amongst our African ancestors.
However this “rise to the challenge” threatened police and political domination. They then moved to painT the black community as a violent, troublesome people despite lack of evidence and them stating the opposite a mere few years ago.
“Immigrant crime rates were, if anything, a little lower than those for the indigenous population.”

What can we learn from this?
Truth is not the priority for news outlets or politicians. Control is.
We have to buffer ourselves against them.
Having control of ourselves, our identity and our esteem is of upmost control. But the most important thing we have control over is our virtue. We descend from giants who put virtue over convenience. They rallied behind the few (african, asian and white working class) because it was the virtuous thing to do. We must continue to support each other and those oppressed whilst limiting our own misfortune with control, education and investments.
